Coco, a German Shepherd-Dachshund mix, is Ariana’s first adopted pooch. She entered the Grande home in 2010, and has even appeared in Ari’s Put Your Hearts Up music video. This lucky doggy has become a firm favorite amongst Arinators, and that might be thanks to the hilarious moment Ariana “interviewed” her on YouTube (dog Q&A, anyone?).

That’s not all. Ariana also created a Twitter account for Coco,@MissCocoAriana,and the pup often makes regular appearances on the ‘Gram. Fun fact? Coco was born on March 27, 2010, the same dayAri’s Nickelodeon show, Victoriouspremiered for the first time!

Ari’s brindle American Pit Bull Terrier was tossed to the side of the road and left in a box before a rescue center found her. When the singer adopted her at just five months old in 2014, she took to Instagram to introduce her, writing, “now she lives with me and my other babies! She will be safe, spoiled, and loved unconditionally! Absolutely shatters my heart how somebody could toss an innocent creature aside like that.”

You can say that again, Ari! Thankfully, Cinnamon is now in safe hands and is one of the many doggies Ariana owns! Fun fact? When Cinnamon gets excited, her ears apparently flip inside out! Cute!

Strauss

Adopted in: 2015

Like us, Ari is a sucker for cute puppies, and so she couldn’t resist adopting little Strauss when she first laid eyes on him. While she was on tour in Oklahoma in 2015, the Animal Rescue Foundation in Tulsa turned up to her meet and greet with adorable puppies, and Ari instantly fell in love with the Yorkshire Terrier.

Ariana obviously has a huge (paw-shaped) heart, and so she made sure to cover the adoption fees for the other seven dogs who turned up to her meet and greet that day. The superstar‘s mom even adopted a few dogs of her own! Fun fact? Strauss made an appearance in Ari’smusic video forPositions!

Ariana adopted this beautiful Bloodhound in 2016, and she has been emblazoned on her Snapchat and Instagram stories ever since. And rightly so — what a pretty pup she is!

Apparently, Ari gave this dog a French name, because she was in France at the time of adopting her. How fitting! Lafayette may look huge, but by the looks of this pic shared by Ari in 2021, she is extremely cuddly. Give us all the cuddles, Lafayette!

Pignoli

Breed: Chihuahua
Adopted in:
2017

With a name like Pignoli, you’d think this was one of Ariana’s pet pigs, but surprisingly not! This adorable little pooch is one of Ariana’s smallest dogs and is a full-breed Chihuahua. He was gifted to Ari by her mother on National Puppy Day as a surprise during her ‘Dangerous Woman Tour’ soundcheck.

Belonging to Ariana’s canine crew since 2017, Ariana revealed in a concert Q&Athat she named Pignoli after pine nuts because she thought he resembled a small nut upon meeting him. Safe to say this little doggie is just as scrumptious as a Pignoli, indeed!

Myron

Adopted in: 2017

When Ariana was dating Mac Miller, the late rapper adopted Myron from an adoption center in California. Naturally, the famous couple shared the Pit Bull Mix when they were together, but after the pair split, Ari took full responsibility for their fur baby.

When Miller sadly passed away, the pop princess had the name “Myron” tattooed on her left leg as tribute to her ex. The pup, who Ari has dubbed as “her everything,” now lives among her pooch family.

Snape and Lily

Breed: Basset Hound
Adopted in:
2019

If there’s one person to name their pets after Harry Potter characters, it’s Ariana Grande, the ultimate fan of the famous wizarding world.

Snape was adopted along with his sister Lily in 2019, and they are both gorgeous Basset Hounds. Their names are inspired by Severus Snape and his one true love, Lilly Potter (also Harry Potter’s mother). There’s no better way to honor the legendary Professor from the Harry Potter movies than to name your dog after him, am I right?

Piggy Smallz

Other than her nine (!!) dogs, this pop princess has opened her home to a cute little pig! Ariana purchased the pig in 2018 when she was in a relationship with SNL’s Pete Davidson. “This girl, she was like, ‘I want a pig,’ and then an hour later, it was just there,” Pete told Seth Myers at the time. “The first two days it was really new and didn’t move much, but now it’s starting to bite and do [pig] stuff. But I love it,” he continued.

With a fitting name like “Piggy Smallz,” this furry friend was kept by Ariana and raised as her own following her split with her ex-fiancé. He even has his own Instagram channel, @realpiggysmallz, and wait for it — was nominated for “Cutest Musician’s Pet” at the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards!

Sweet like chocolate! Joining CocoandToulouse, Ariana welcomed this stunning brown Labradoodle into her arms in 2013. Ophelia’s name was suggested by Ariana’s close friend, Aaron Simon Gross, in which she loved because it sounded “old” and “proper.”

While Ophelia no longer lives with Ari, she’s still in the Grande family, now living with her mom, Joan.

Dog…or fox…you decide! Ariana rescued this beautiful Shiba Inu in 2014. Things were fun while they lasted, as Fawkes was apparently “play-fighting and wrestling with Toulouse,” but shortly after, she was rehomed to a friend, as she kept fighting with the other pets in the Grande household.

Fun fact? It’s believed that Ophelia and Sirius had puppies, as Joan shared photos of new puppies from a similar breed.

Another pup named after a Harry Potter character made its way into Ariana’s home in 2015. The Labradoodle named after “Sirius Black” (Harry’s god-father), joined Ari during her Honeymoon Tour, but he now resides with her mom, as the pair built a really strong bond together.

Mari and Heir

For the love of goats! That’s right, Ariana loves goats so much, to the point where she adopted two! In 2016, Ari took home two black and white small goats and named them Mari and Heir. But come 2018, and the hitmaker revealed that the goats were no longer living with her, and had moved on to her friend’s farm.

This year, Ari even called herself the“goat mother” in a caption for a photo of herself with goats on a farm. It’s not clear whether Mari and Heir are featured in this photo.

Ariana Grande's Pets – A Complete List of Her Animals (14)

As you can see, Ariana is a sucker for abandoned pups and would probably house them all if she could! But it’s safe to say her brood is kind of full at the minute!
