Several Indian athletes expressed their heartfelt condolences after it was announced that the visionary industrialist and philanthropist, Ratan Naval Tata had passed away just before midnight yesterday.
The official account of the Tata Group on X (formerly known as Twitter) released a statement by N Chandrasekaran, the Chairman of Tata Sons confirming the news of his passing at 11:56 PM, last night.
“It is with a profound sense of loss that we bid farewell to Mr Ratan Naval Tata, a truly uncommon leader whose immeasurable contributions have shaped not only the Tata Group but also the very fabric of our nation,” the statement began.
