Maple syrup is one of my favorite sweeteners to use in my recipes because it’s all natural and adds a great flavor. You may use honey, agave, date syrup or even coconut sugar or cane sugar would be fine.

Chia seeds adds not only protein and omega-3’s to this recipe but it also creates a more sasiating meal by making it more filling.

Any type of milk or nut milk will work such as dairy milk, oat milk, almond milk or coconut milk.

Cinnamon adds a ton of flavor to these oats.

I like to use honey crisp apples because they are crisp, sweet and just one of my favorites. But feel free to use any type of apple that you’d like, I prefer red but green would work too.
