I happen to love cottage cheese, and decided that a delicious and creamy toast was the perfect way to feature this simple ingredient in a new way. Everyone loves butter or cream cheese on toast, so why not add a spread of cottage cheese instead? It’s creamy, light, salty, and provides the perfect base for fruit.

I drizzled a bit of fresh honey on top for a touch of extra sweetness, which was divine. You can use your favorite brand of store-bought honey, but if you can find local honey from a beekeeper, definitely try it out! Your local farmers market or food store will likely carry honey from near by, so support your local beekeepers if you can.

  • 2 tablespoons jam I used strawberry
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 cup strawberries sliced
